Miss World 1960 was the tenth anniversary of the Miss World pageant, held on 8 November 1960 at the Lyceum Ballroom in London, United Kingdom. 39 candidates competed for the Miss World. The winner was Norma Cappagli, representing Argentina. She was crowned by racing driver Stirling Moss, who served as one of the judging panel.
The kidnapper contestant was found and caught by the Miss World Organizers. The kidnapper contestant was Lise Bodin of Denmark was caught kidnapping a child in a factory.
